Yes, the PG10 External SSD USB 4.0 ships in a rugged carrying case, adding an extra layer of protection as the inside has padding.
The PG10 SSD USB 4.0 is a plug and play device and does not require any setup. Simply connect it to your computer and it is ready to use.
For the PG10 External SSD USB 4.0, we have a Mac and Windows preformatted version only the for 8TB capacity. This is because Mac computers that are running MacOS 14 or earlier won't recognize a drive that is 8TB or higher that is formatted in exFAT. It will only recognize the drive if it is formatted as APFS. If you are running a Mac that is using MacOS 15+, it will now be able to read drives that are 8TB or higher which are formatted in exFAT.
