Initially thought this was a luxury I dont need - I was wrong...

Blazing fast. Just remember that culling the images later on, is a chore. But you will not miss the most important shot because of the slow buffer. Think of your child's athletics which lasts 20 seconds, A hummingbird sequence... endless possibilities.

Thankful that Prograde is making CF-A cards

This is an excellent alternative to Sony’s proprietary CF-A cards. Love them and have used the Sony and Prograde in the other slot. No slow down, and excellent speed. Metal casing and feels really durable and to me it loads in the camera better then the Sony… I have had the Sony stick when loading in my A1. I highly recommend them!!

Superfast Wonder!

I thought the Prograde V90 cards were fast! This thing really smokes! My un-scientific testing proved that this card is noticeably faster than the v90 cards and I'm convinced to keep on using it!

Super fast

This card has been great. Get the card reader as well. I have the Sony version and the pro grade version and not only is the pro grade 1/2 the price but it has an SD reader as well as the type “A”. I highly recommend this product and bought a second card.

Great fast and reliable cards. Would buy again

Bought these for my A7SIII and they are blazing fast. Going to try them on my A7IV when I get it. Crazy how far technology has come. Prograde has made a high quality product much more affordable and much better built than the OEM brand. I highly recommend these.

What is CFExpress?

CFexpress is a removable media standard created by the CompactFlash Association. There were three form factors defined in the standard: Type A, Type B, and Type C. All form factors leverage the PCIe® Gen 3 interface for higher performance based on a computing industry storage interface and utilize NVM Express™ 1.3 protocols. For more information visit compactflash.org

What is the difference between CFExpress Type A and CFExpress Type B?

The CFexpress Type A memory card is a lot smaller, measuring 20mm x 28mm x 2.8mm, while the CFexpress Type B measures 29.6mm x 38.5mm x3.8mm. The CFexpress Type A uses 2-lane memory while the CFexpress Type B uses 4-lane memory.

Which memory card reader do I need for this card?

What cameras are compatible with CFExpress Type A?

Currently the only cameras that take CFexpress Type A memory cards are the Sony A1, Sony a7S III, Sony FX6, Sony FX3, Sony FR7, and SONY FX30.

Why does this CFexpress type A card have VPG400?

Video Performance Guarantee 400 (VPG400) means that when you are recording, you can ensure that the minimum write speed while recording is at least 400MP/s without dropping any frames.
