As always, it's another great card reader from ProGrade Digital. I now own two of them (the other is the CFexpress and SD) and they have work flawlessly. They are much faster than any other card reader I have used and have never failed me. If you are wondering if you should give it a shot the answer is yes. It will be the last card reader brand you will ever buy.
Ich bin begeistert von dem ProGrade Card Reader CFexpress Type B & XQD Single-Slot with Thunderbolt 3 Interface! Bilder einladen geht nicht richtig schnell. Einen Riesen-Fortschritt!
Looks great. I bought the Thunderbolt 3 thinking my MAC Pro supported it to find out It’s to old. Had to order a USB 3 reader today so I can download this weekend’s assignment.
Very fast delivery to Germany. Awesome and great performance via Thunderbolt 3. I can highly recommend this product, if you love high performance working and fast workflows!
It works great with ProGrade 120GB CfExpress card, but doesn't work with my 120GB Sony XQD card. I have windows 10 system and followed instruction downloaded Sony XQD card driver. When insert the Sony XQD card, the drive doesn't show in explorer. The device manager for XQD Memory card with this message: Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52)

Unfortunately, a Thunderbolt 3 device will not work in a USB 3.0/3.1 port.
No, our XQD CFexpress Card Reader does not have TB3 pass through.
A memory card reader is a device used to read or write data to and from a memory card. A memory card reader typically has a USB interface to allow it to connect to a personal computer so that data can be transferred to or from a memory card.
Removing a memory card from a reader is typically referred to as ‘ejecting’ on both Mac and Windows computers. However, as with most commands, the process varies between Mac and Windows computers. Do not remove a memory card before safely ejecting it since the computer may still be writing or reading data; pulling the card before this process is finished can corrupt the files.
A memory card reader is the fastest way to transfer data to or from a memory card. Some readers allow you to insert multiple cards making transfers even faster. Memory card readers are also more reliable than transferring files directly from the device.
